In recent updates, I've faced some issues with the installation process. After version 0.36 it seems Steam updates only a few percent and then stops. My download speeds are very low (<20mbps) and I'm unsure why. Other programs install and run smoothly on the same storage device. My drive is a Samsung 256GB SSD with over 20GB free space, yet it still fails. I've tried moving the installation to different drives—Kingston 500GB M.2 SSD and Toshiba 1TB—but the same problem persists. Other apps and games update without trouble on the same Steam version. It's frustrating because I have to wait hours, repeatedly pressing the retry button, and sometimes Steam displays strange error messages about corrupt update files. Before sharing, remember I've cleared the cache, reinstalled games, turned off Windows Defender, and tried other troubleshooting steps. Thanks.

Navigate to the steam configuration and choose storage. Pick the drive where BeamNG is set up. Tap the three dots and select repair folder.

After removing BeamNG from Steam, the folder remains on your system. Try removing it and then reinstalling to confirm. It should typically appear in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common.

Execute the command in the admin prompt: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth chkdsk /f /r sfc /scannow restart after running sfc /scannow @KECO Not sure if you noticed this
