Update issue with ASRock X570 Pro4 BIOS?
Hi, I noticed some problems with your BIOS update on the Ryzen 3800X using the ASRock X570 Pro4 (Non M) MoBo. After flashing, the system rebooted but didn’t enter the BIOS properly. It took a long time to start and kept showing the Boot debug LED. The graphics card didn’t show anything, though it displayed the logo briefly once. No rear I/O was powering up, and some keyboard LEDs flashed briefly when plugged in. I suspect an issue beyond the BIOS update—possibly a hardware fault or incorrect settings. Could you check the power connections and try a different keyboard? Let me know if you need further help. Thanks!
Reset the system and see if it boots normally, otherwise it might require a BIOS update or replacement.
I should have mentioned the solutions I've already attempted: clearing CMOS (using jumper and removing battery), uninstalling and reinstalling RAM (one stick or both), reinstalling the graphics card, and reinstalling the CPU. It's also important to note this system is five months old and was running with these parts until I flashed the BIOS. The main confusion point is that the rear I/O isn't working on the motherboard—I wouldn't expect a failed BIOS to prevent it from receiving power or functioning.
