I'm completely confused about what might have occurred. There was a Windows 11 update alert this morning. My system specs are: Asus X670 Prime Wifi Ryzen 7800X3D MSI 3090 Trident DDR5-6000 64gb (32x2), Samsung 980 Pro 1tb M.2 Deepcool LT720 AIO Hyte Y60 case with vertical GPU adapter. I updated the lighting and fan controls in Asus Armory Crate, but that seems unlikely to be the issue. After restarting, the Windows update bar appeared and I got a coffee. About five minutes later, my screens went dark and all fans spun. After waiting roughly fifteen minutes, I powered off the PC, held the reset button for ten seconds, and then turned it back on. Still, the fans kept spinning without doing anything. So far, I've removed all drives, connected the display to the motherboard, swapped RAM, but I don't have a motherboard speaker and there are no status lights. Could you help me find a solution?

It seems the BIOS might need an update—consider checking Armoury Crate or applying a Windows update. Try resetting CMOS and test connectivity. If issues persist, flash the BIOS via USB flashback and refer to the manual at the provided link. When the system starts functioning, remove Armoury Crate as it could be causing conflicts.

I pulled the CMOS after writing this (not sure why I didn’t do it before posting). The system is now updating the BIOS. I’m getting rid of Armory Crate since I barely use it. Hope everything works when I connect drives and GPUs again. I’ll revise this post later as I plug things back in.

There’s not much to add beyond that—Crate is a solid choice for RGB changes. Other options include RGBoison, ColorFusion, or even manual methods with software like Photoshop or GIMP.

All content shared and I'm back on Windows. Once posted, it immediately reappeared in the update progress bar, stuck at 98% for roughly five minutes, before being redirected to Windows again. Thanks a lot for your prompt response. This is the first time I've needed to remove the CMOS battery. Uninstalling Armory Crate now and I turned it off in BIOS.
