Hi, im trying to update my Notebook from W8.1 to W10. I know that free Windows update window is far gone, but i read some articles saying it is still possible. I used a CMD line i found online, to find what is my W Product key. In system info there is a link to "Get more function with new edition of windows" i tryed to put it there, but it says its not valid key. I tryed calling Microsoft to validate my key. Only respod i got was, if you want W10 you have to purchase it. So i started wondering if those articles, just wasnt kind of a joke. I know that if you updated your PC to W10, while it was free, there is no problem of doing reinstal to 8.1 and updating it to W10, but i havent done that either. Could somebody tell me if there is still way to actually upgrade W8.1 to W10. Or at least link where i could read about that topic. Any help would be appreciated.
