Hello everyone. Amid all the discussions about the free Windows 10 update, Microsoft has consistently sidestepped a common issue: laptops running Windows 8.1 paired with Bing. Can it be done to upgrade from a Windows 8.1 with Bing laptop to Windows 10? And will this process be free? TIA

I’m certain you’ll receive an upgrade to Windows 10 without cost, so there’s no need to worry—it will arrive.

They haven’t planned to release updates for Windows RT and Vista anymore, which makes me worried... I’m not sure how long I can keep using W8.

Windows RT represents a distinct variant of Windows tailored for tablets equipped with ARM processors. In contrast, Windows 8 paired with Bing is designed specifically for devices running x86 processors. Consequently, a significant update is highly probable.
