Update for Windows 10 driver issues isn't progressing correctly.
I own a laptop with an Intel i5-2410m and AMD 6470m processor, 8GB RAM. The GPU is faulty; it drops frames every few seconds when playing games in Windows 7. With Windows 10 I get crashes during auto-updates unless the AMD driver is installed. I need only Windows updates and security info, not driver fixes. I’ve tried disabling drivers via settings but ended up using the Group Policy Editor to block updates to avoid crashes. The DDU safemode helped temporarily. Anyone have suggestions for tools or methods to stop the driver update? Thanks!
Sorry, you won't be able to. I've been urging for this and hoping for more votes, but it seems people aren't paying attention or think it won't cause an issue.
