Update for the biosASUS ROG STRIX B360-F gaming BIOS – no white light display or VGA indicator.
I have an ASUS ROG Strix B360-F with a gaming GPU, Intel core i5 8500, 8GB RAM, and BIOS that hasn't been updated since 2018. I recently changed it to around 80% and the PC shut down unexpectedly, stopping completely with no display. I've tried various fixes from online sources—like removing the CMOS battery, clearing CMOS from a jumper, swapping the GPU, or reseating RAM—but nothing resolved the issue. I'm feeling stuck and need guidance.
It raises doubts about data integrity. It seems you're repeatedly overwriting files. One of them must be compromised.
That completely undermines the concept. All that remains is potential corruption, which you can resolve by quickly addressing it. Provided you're able to do so.
I just changed the bios once and after around 80% it stops working and restarts, displaying white VGA light.
Only a single flash achieved 80% completion? Can you do a Re flash? Some systems allow flashing the BIOS without a hard drive at all. I think one such method is called “bios flashback,” though the name and approach vary by manufacturer.
I'm not sure about the flashing process, but this motherboard doesn't support BIOS flashback like other models.
