Hi There. My board is an MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon running BIOS v7A12IMS130. I haven’t updated it since purchase, so I’m using that version. I’m checking if an update is necessary and looking for the most recent BIOS release. The MSI site lists versions differently after v1.7, so I’ll need to confirm the current file name. Thanks!

You should consider updating the BIOS only when you require the new features. The current version is 7A12v1A, and you can verify this by checking the release date.
