Update for Fallout 4
Update for Fallout 4
It seems you're asking about the connection between Skyrim and New Vegas. Would you like to know why someone might follow both?
Unless they change, I won't buy any Bethesda titles again. Steam offers a 14-day refund policy, which helped me get my money back for FO4. Once they improve, I might try it again—possibly at a lower price, which would still be a loss for them. Following Linus's advice to support what you buy is wise. If a game isn't good at launch, get your money back.
Why wouldn't they patch it? It's only been a week since release and there has already been one patch, just be patient.
It might have been a poor installation. Your PC shouldn't run into problems. Most people I know, including me, have experienced almost no issues after installing. Those who play on consoles are usually complaining about many bugs, which is the opposite of what's happening with recent games—especially when compared to older Bethesda titles. Fallout is impressively stable now. Compared to other recent releases, it's almost bug-free. I was taken aback by how quickly the patch addressed the elevator/door problem, but I don't expect another update soon since no other game has caused similar issues yet.
Not having 21:9 support causes issues for me. The ini edit fix isn't reliable because fullscreen mode distorts the HUD and shifts the crosshair. Switching to window mode would let me play an AAA game with the bar layout as intended. I don't want Bethesta to take my money for such problems.
