The Asus Prime B450M-A/CSM supports BIOS updates through its built-in tools, allowing you to modify settings without accessing the BIOS menu. It also includes support for Matisse CPUs right out of the box, so no update is needed.

The board's interface doesn't display the "Ryzen 3000 ready" logo found on devices like their Strix B450-F, so I wouldn't assume it supports Zen 2 right out of the box. Still, it's a rather poor build. I'd recommend looking at alternatives such as an MSI B450M-PRO VDH Max or B450-A PRO Max, which come with the required BIOS pre-installed for Ryzen 3000 chips.

I'll take a look. If the system doesn't upload during installation, you can adjust the BIOS settings directly without opening the BIOS menu, as shown in the video at that moment.

You can update the BIOS on a motherboard that doesn’t have a CPU inside (or has a different CPU) only if the board offers BIOS flashback support, which it currently does not.
