When I finally assemble a PC, I bet I’ll be diving into Battalion.

I've never come across either of them, and whether I'm excited or not depends on how well they perform at launch if they actually do. It's hard to stress how unpredictable Kickstarter or Early Access can be these days. The original funding targets on Kickstarter seem extremely high. Days of War wanted $20,000; Battalion 1944 requested £100,000. Sure, both games exceeded their asks, but that still doesn't seem like sufficient funding to create a strong game in 2016. For context, $20,000 is roughly the annual income of one person earning minimum wage in the U.S. before taxes.

Battalion is discussing larger developers and ongoing conflicts, though I'm unsure about the details. I hope things come to an end.
