Recently I upgraded to a GTX 1080 Ti. After installing the Nvidia drivers, I encountered a problem where certain windows would always stay on top. I could only view other windows when they were closed or minimized. I looked up terms like "application frame host" but wasn't sure if it relates to my issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
To test the fix, I'd run the scan command at an elevated prompt: sfc /scannow
I’m feeling a bit confused, but I don’t really understand what happened. The window that was stuck was the Task Manager, and the “always on top” option was chosen by mistake. I’m not sure how changing the GPU affected this, but it seems like a straightforward solution worked.
