Unusual vcore performance - only changes of 0.016v are achievable
I've attempted to push my 6700k to higher speeds on an Asus Z170a board with the latest BIOS. However, I realized that the voltage I manually adjusted isn't actually being applied. For instance, when I set the core voltage to 1.335, it fluctuates between 1.328 and 1.344. The same issue occurs when I input 1.35, causing jumps from 1.328 to 1.344 and even up to 1.36. Changing the LLC didn't resolve the problem, and I'm unsure what else to try.
It's typical for voltage to fluctuate naturally. You're facing a situation where you can't precisely control the value, so it seems to settle around 1.344 or 1.36. That's quite common, especially without a fixed setting or limiting device.
