Hello, I've just upgraded to the Ryzen 5 7600X and noticed a noticeable temperature difference between the cores. Cores #0 and #1 seem about 10-12 degrees cooler than cores #4 and #5. Initially, I suspected poor thermal paste application, but after removing the cooler, it covered the entire heat spreader. I also checked the mounting brackets and tightened them properly. Additionally, I switched from MX-4 to a Noctua compound I had with the previous cooler.

Is this typical for the 7600X? Or is there an issue with my CPU that I should replace? I'm using a Noctua NH-D12L cooler and didn't have any problems before with my Ryzen 5 3600. My thermal paste application might not have been ideal, as I'm still learning about PC building. I've applied it several times now and it looks even across the heat spreader.

I also slightly adjusted the voltage curve, which lowered the overall temps. The performance remained consistent before and after that change.

It's normal for there to be a slight difference between cores. If this bothers you, consider reinstalling your CPU cooler and applying more thermal paste.
