It seems the download consistently slows down after about ten seconds, regardless of the storage type or game. The speed drops steadily without any obvious cause like hardware issues or software conflicts. I've tested it on multiple drives and even with other games, so it's not a general problem. Could be related to background processes or network instability?

I've already attempted to empty the download cache, reinstalled Steam, and switched to various servers... The issue persists.

I believe the problem occurred a few years ago, though it seems to be resolved across most systems now. Have you tried different operating systems such as Epic? What method succeeded for you was a fresh Windows install using a new setup disk.
