Hello, I'm facing a strange problem with my latest setup. Every few to five boots it starts up normally, shows the standard progress wheel, but then instead of launching Windows, it displays a black screen. The monitor still gets a signal, but it's just black. At this stage, I can only keep the power button pressed to cut power and then restart. After restarting, everything works perfectly again. Occasionally, a second restart is needed, making each boot feel like a roll of the dice. I can always access BIOS and it keeps telling me everything is okay. I've tested various RAM slots and sticks, so the issue isn't with memory. I also moved Windows to a different M.2 drive, but the problem continues, indicating the drive isn't the cause.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D
RAM: GSkill Flare X5 64GB DDR5 (4x16)
COOLER: BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 5
GPU: AMD Radeon 7900XT
SSD: WD Black SN850X 2TB NVME M.2 gen 4 and WD Black SN850X 1TB NVME M.2 gen 4
PSU: Seasonic Focus V3 GX-1000
CASE: Fractal North XL
OS: Windows 11

seems like you're employing two distinct 2x 16GB units? check each unit individually in DIMM slots A_2 / B_2. ensure the packaged sets are kept together, not combined incorrectly.

Tested individual kits separately, but the issue remains. Bios consistently identify them, and during boot they operate correctly, not mixing them together, each pair stays in its designated slot.

Swap and reposition the NVMe drives that serve as your boot drive. M.2 units can lead to problems if they aren't firmly in place.
