I noticed a strange noise coming from my PC. My storage is solid state, and it doesnt sound like a fan. I have cleared the PC from dust and moved cables. The sound is quite faint, especially when the fans ramp up. I used audacity to "isolate" the sound, see below. weird noise.mp3

It seems like a fan issue is worsening, possibly affecting one of the fans. It might be the same problem as with your PSU.

The noise comes from a rotating component, suggesting your PC has only fans for movement. Try lightly inserting a finger into the fans to identify which one is making the sound. Avoid using sharp objects, as they could damage the delicate fans. This way you can keep the moving parts in good condition.

Using a compressor further reduced the sound significantly, making it almost silent. Appreciate the assistance!

Previously I would manually remove dirt from my budget fans using hot water and a degreaser. Once cleaned, let them air dry in a warm area. You might choose to bypass all that and simply apply a few drops of sewing machine oil close to the bearings or axle—it's an extremely thin, long-lasting lubricant perfect for tiny moving components.
