Hi, I see this small noise coming from your PC that’s not too loud but keeps popping up sometimes. It seems more noticeable when things are running and sounds like an HDD, though you don’t have one. You mentioned it might be coming from the motherboard capacitors, which is a bit concerning. If it’s just coil whine, adjusting the VRM switch frequency in your BIOS could help. I haven’t changed that setting before, so I’m not sure if 300, 500 or 100 is right. Since your system is auto and running smoothly, you might not need to fix it unless the noise gets worse.

The coil whine from your RTX 3090 is likely a minor audio detail, probably noticeable only in quiet environments.

It doesn't appear to be originating from your GPU, but rather the CPU area. I've confirmed it, though the noise differs from what you heard on your GPU.

Coil whine originates from VRMs, and the motherboard features them adjacent to the CPU socket.

The video shows the fans working better for clearer audio. I've used another board with the same model and settings, but the issue persists. I reset the BIOS to defaults without changing anything, so it's likely not the GPU, fans, or PSU. The noise seems to come from the upper side of the card, possibly due to the motherboard, RAM, or power supply, but not from the fans themselves.

It appears the setting you noticed changed recently, and the mouse noise issue seems to have lessened. This could be related to your perception or might still matter depending on the context.

I just tested another PSU, the Asus Thor 1200W, but the same problem occurred. It seems the issue isn't with the power supply itself. Could it be something else I should consider?
