I recently assembled my first PC and everything worked smoothly until I detected this persistent noise. It ranges from a steady tone to a beep, most noticeable at the bottom right. The fans aren’t producing sound, nor is the power supply unit making any noise. I’m eager to understand the issue and find a solution. Here are the details: CPU – Ryzen 5 5600X, RAM – 16GB, GPU – Zotac RTX 3060 Ti, SSD – 500GB, HDD – 2TB, PSU – Corsair CV 750W, case – Lian Li Lancool II with mesh RGB lighting.

It sounds like a faint metallic noise, possibly from fans or an AIO. I’d carefully inspect the area around the HDDs, checking if they’re rubbing against the platters or another component.

It might be the hard drive causing the issue. The link you shared appears to be related, but there could be a fix if this is the problem.

I've heard about certain data recovery services swapping components, but usually it's just to access and extract information from a drive. If an HDD is making loud noises, it's usually time to remove the data promptly and consider replacing the drive. Solid-state drives are inherently risky—you can't just open them randomly without proper equipment and expertise.
