Unusual shutdowns and resets
Hello everyone! I'm facing some issues with my PC, as you might have suspected. Sometimes it shuts down completely, like if someone turned off the power, and then restarts on its own. My initial idea was to run some performance tests—after about 15 minutes using Kombustor for CPU and GPU, as well as Cinebench and 3DMark Time Spy—but the system didn't quit. Then I downloaded Call of Duty Vanguard and played a few games without any problems so far. However, when I tried Warzone, it would instantly crash as soon as the game started. I repeated the test and the same thing happened, with the map loading causing an immediate restart. I first encountered this problem while playing V-Rising with my wife, but it only occurred at a certain location (my base). I'm not sure what to do next. Interestingly, I've played Warzone without issues before on this system. I've installed the latest GPU driver, but that didn't help. My system specs are: CPU I9 9900K, 2x8GB RAM at 3200MHz, Kingston HyperX FURY MOBO gaming GPU, MSI GeForce RTX 2080 VENTUS V2, Seasonic FOCUS Plus 750W PSU, an NVME M.2 SSD, a Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SATA SSD, and a Seagate BarraCuda 2TB HDD. I haven't overclocked anything, and the system has run smoothly since April 2019. I'm starting to wonder if my PSU might be failing? What do you think?
I just tested a DDU and ran an older model to check if it was the latest causing issues, but that didn’t help either.
