You just finished assembling a PC and linked it to your monitor. A barrage of delete actions appeared, followed by an unexpected message. Since you haven’t installed Windows yet, the previous FTPM file isn’t available. What should you do next?

I would choose Y. If BitLocker isn't set up, how do you expect to have a key? It should just clear it and then start normally after Windows is installed. It seems some motherboards come with this feature by default, which eases my concerns. Those experiencing the same problem on a new PC pressed Y and moved on. Edited February 7, 2025 by Hellowpplz
