Activates when CPU reaches over 5%, reduces ring ratio back to default (45x). Performance is stable at 13600k with 5.6 across all cores and 4.8 on ring. Slight 100mV undervoltage detected, though settings remain consistent. Disabling current limit didn’t help, and maintaining under 90°C requires proper voltage control.
Consider trying ThrottleStop version 9.7.3 at https://www.techpowerup.com/download/tec...ottlestop/. Launch the TPL window, adjust Power Limit 4 to its maximum value of 1023. In the FIVR window, set IccMax to its highest setting, 511.75. Apply these changes for each component: CPU Core, P Cache, Intel GPU, and iGPU Unslice. Close HWiNFO. Capture some ThrottleStop screenshots showing the FIVR, TPL, and Limit Reasons panel. When you run Cinebench R23, verify if the CPU runs at full speed throughout the test without any throttling. Report your score. A typical 13600K chip without overclocking usually achieves around 24K. You can also watch the Limit Reasons section with HWiNFO open. If your CPU is throttling, check for red indicators under the CORE column during testing. Are you applying undervolting in the BIOS or using software to lower the voltage? Intel 13th and 14th Gen processors tend to overheat when fully loaded. It’s normal.
all work has been covered in bios; v curves were slightly adjusted to handle the voltage drop. I don’t recall the exact score from the previous Cinebench test, but the core boost stayed stable throughout. I plan to run another Cinebench soon and look forward to it.
