I work with an UDM-Pro and these random MAC addresses began appearing under my clients list a few months ago. After restarting everything, the problem persisted, appearing as if it came from one of the APs since it connected to the same port on a Unifi switch that the AP was attached to. I removed some lower-quality IoT devices and the issue disappeared. When I reintroduced them one by one, the problem never returned. I’m unsure why it happened or how it was resolved. My suspected device is a BluAir Air Purifier that’s WiFi enabled and looks suspicious—it’s now on its own VLAN, but I’m still not sure. This issue has also been reported on Unifi forums, so I suspect it might be related to the switches rather than the clients.
