Hey! I encountered a puzzling problem too. One day I tried to power on my PC and it froze with a black screen. After several attempts, I finally got into Windows via the motherboard GPU. I configured BIOS to always boot using the motherboard GPU, but whenever I launch Windows, my GTX 1070 keeps showing system error 43 in Device Manager. Oddly enough, just toggling it on and off resolves the issue and lets me run everything smoothly. Every time I turn on the PC, I can’t get the 1070 to boot properly and have to switch to a motherboard GPU. I’ve tried almost anything, but updating the GPU or BIOS hasn’t helped much.
