Have you addressed the challenge? I'm facing the same problem. Specifically, I upgraded from a 5600x to a 5800x3D, an AORUS X470 motherboard, the newest BIOS, and Windows 11.
I'm just curious about this. Didn't OP mention if they're compatible with Windows 11 either, did they? It's a bit odd, though—upgraded to 3D recently and everything went well, except the hard drive change didn't go smoothly... (maybe Windows doesn't like NVMe much?) I didn't reinstall Windows 10, but I had to tweak the boot order in BIOS. My main concern is the hard drive. Could be related, even if the CPU changes don't fit that idea? Also, did you update the AMD chipset driver? (They didn't mention it, did they?) Yes, I did and it's functioning properly. I also updated the BIOS to the version that supports 3D. Everything seems to be working now. Can you tell me about your hard drive setup and the chipset driver?
No, I haven't seen that article. It doesn't mention the issue with the 5800x3D overclocking bug.
