I'm experiencing a problem with New Vegas where my FPS consistently drops to the low 30s and into the 20s after about 15 to 30 minutes of playtime. When I launch the game, my FPS starts around 80-90 near the Hoover Dam area but then falls below 30 over time. My system is heavily modded, and I only have Ojo Bueno textures and the Weapon Retexture Project installed. My PC specs are an i5 3570k at 3.4GHz, MSI GTX 970. If you need more details, just let me know. Thanks in advance for your time and help!

I often rely on this method. Edit: To clear cell buffers (PCB), press the console key, type 'PCB', and press enter. Press the ~ key once more to exit, then run a performance test.

Clear the buffer memory. Insert PCB into the console. This process empties all buffers to improve loading speed, though it may reduce performance in certain situations.

Are you checking compatibility? I’m using a controller and need to change it every few minutes, which can be frustrating.

Checking your temperatures and seeing if the issue stays consistent or shifts over time in the game.

Never tried that before, so no real thoughts to share.

Conditions are ideal, temperature under 55°C. It doesn’t change based on location in the game. My GPU load stays near 50%. Could that be the issue?
