Unusual PC Crashes While Playing Intensive Games – Seek Expert Help!
Hello everyone, I'm dealing with a recurring problem on my gaming PC that I installed two years ago. It worked fine until recently when it began shutting down unexpectedly during intense gameplay. While it handles lighter games like Minecraft or Smite without issues, more demanding titles cause it to power off silently, without any error alerts. Initially, I thought the GPU was the culprit, but testing with three different graphics cards hasn't resolved the issue, suggesting it might not be related to the GPU. I'm unsure what's causing these sudden shutdowns and am hesitant to buy more parts without a clear solution. Have you encountered similar problems? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.
PC specs for reference:
- AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 8-core processor
- 16GB RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce 2060
- 750W power supply
It's not a poor power supply, though it seems to point toward a PSU problem. If covered under warranty, I'd consider sending it back via RMA.
