PC specifications include an Intel 14900k Arctic Liquid Freezer II, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, and Kingston FURY DDR5-5600 MSI with RTX 3060. The system runs at 80+ Gold and has 128GB RAM. It was assembled for astrophotography and photo rendering tasks. BIOS updated and PC tested under stress conditions without issues. Temperatures are normal. Performance varies with software; some applications run slowly or freeze during intensive tasks. Cooling and thermal management seem adequate, but stability concerns arise during long conversions. Consider checking cooling solutions and ensuring proper airflow.

Set up hwmonitor to view your temperatures and clocks, and verify that all drivers are properly installed or updated.

Conditions are ideal. Runs Microsoft Flight Sim and Starcraft II smoothly and finishes a standard Cinebench test easily. I’m confirming the drivers, but I’m confident they’re up to date.

No, you are utilizing both an 8-pin EPS connector.

I'm working with both 8pin EPS connectors. The system freezes in PixInsight while Windows Event Manager reports a critical kernel issue (task 63 error #41). Performance on a single core stays stable at 98, but multicore drops to 95-98°C before freezing. This happens when programs demand heavy parallel processing.

It seems like your system is running at default settings. Adjusting the BIOS to use Intel-recommended voltages might help. There are many guides online explaining how to fix this issue.
