I have a PC with a Ryzen 2700 and an RX470 miner. The PSU is SilentiumPC 450W, and I’m hearing strange noises when it’s idle but quieter during heavy use. It feels like an old HDD is spinning under load. I don’t have any HDDs, only a system SSD.

Likely causes include static electricity or coil whine. Your laptop experiences this too.

Coil whine is normal during operation, especially when the load is applied.
