Hello everyone, I'm dealing with an unusual RAM issue. I have an ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F gaming board running BIOS 2801, paired with a Ryzen 5 2600X and 16GB of Kingston HyperX Fury RAM (two 8GB sticks). I added two more sticks for a total of 32GB, but the PC won't boot after each addition. I ran Memtest86 on each stick individually and got no errors, even when moving them around. After reinstalling, the problem persisted. What could possibly be wrong?
Ryzen performs better with less instability, but the motherboard isn't great. A friend experienced the same issue with RAM sticks, needing a dual 16GB kit for his system to function properly.

Adjusted the settings on my MSI board once; it worked because I wanted faster RAM in the first and third slots and slower ones in the second and fourth. This is unusual since typically they’re swapped, and if the RAM doesn’t match perfectly, that could be the problem. You might need to manually configure timings and speeds!
