Unusual looping issue Error encountered System behaving oddly
Hello, I’m a technician in a modest computer repair shop. Today I got a PC that’s stuck in a boot loop. When it starts, it cycles through the motherboard logo all the way to the Windows logo and then abruptly restarts. I’ve checked the power supply, RAM, and storage drives—everything seems normal. I tried swapping out the disks; if I do that, it boots into BIOS. The motherboard uses a Gigabyte B450 chipset, and everything looks good at first glance. Could this be caused by the motherboard itself? Since even Windows installation can trigger the loop, I’m worried about a hardware issue. I’m also concerned about updating the BIOS, as a faulty motherboard could render it unusable and void any warranty, even if I act as a certified service provider. The PC had been functioning perfectly for several days before the loop began. Visual checks revealed no leaks or missing parts. Please give me another opinion before sending this build to the customer. I don’t have spare motherboards on hand, and the budget for repairs is very limited because it’s a third-party system.
