You noticed some odd boxes appearing on your desktop icons after using a second monitor. This issue only appeared once you switched monitors and disappeared when you restarted your computer. Someone might have a clue about what’s causing it—it’s not a major problem but it’s a bit bothersome.

It appears to be a video card driver issue. You might have varying DPI settings on the two monitors, or different resolutions and aspect ratios, which aren't always thoroughly checked by developers. Consider switching to another driver version if it bothers you.
