Unusual issues with Logitech G Pro Wireless scroll wheel performance
Hey, Just a quick question for anyone that has a Logitech G Pro Wireless mouse or know of the problem. For some reason the mouse wheel stops working all of a suden. It happened to me 4 times so far. I've done the basic troubleshooting steps like uninstalling and reinstalling logitech g hub, updating mouse firmware, restarting PC and so on. Nothing worked of course. The first 3 times, doing a deep clean of the mouse worked. The last time (today) I removed the bottom cover, removed the ribbon and battery connection, waited a few minutes and reconnected it. The mouse wheel continued to work after that. Anyone know what the problem might be? It might just be old age, since it is 4 years old or so, but MAYBE there is a random fix.
I own the Logitech M720 Triathlon and experienced a similar problem once. It no longer occurs, though at one point the scrolling became slow, uneven, or wrong. It’s resolved now, but I suspect the device is quite outdated. Could this be a widespread issue?
