I don’t like strange issues. I boosted my GPU’s speed to 85 Core Clock. It runs smoothly in GTA V, but in Rainbow Six Siege it crashes after just 15 minutes. I adjusted the clock to +75 and it works there, though in GTA FPS it caps at 30 frames per second. What’s happening?

You don't have to push your card too hard to hit 60 FPS—just tweak your game settings a bit. If it freezes, it means it's not stable. (This applies to 1080p and not 4K or anything else.)

Consider reinstalling the drivers. Have you experimented with setting it to +80? It seems 85 triggers crashes on your R6S, while 75 causes issues in GTAV.

I don't understand much. I tried reinstalling the drivers, but GTA enjoys +85 and R6S dislikes it. If I switch to +75, R6S should work, though GTA might crash. Yeah...

What are you referring to? I noticed I included +85 or +75—does that mean OC? And it works when it runs stock.

There seems to be an issue with your OC... it's straightforward. If it works fine at a standard setting but not at your custom level, you might have made a mistake, or the card can't manage those time adjustments.

But really?! It seems GTA V works smoothly at a higher clock speed, while it freezes at lower speeds. That’s strange since it should run better with more processing power.
