Hi everyone, I'm looking for some guidance. I've been dealing with random crashes and issues when running applications in WSL. My system seems fine without BSOD, but Prime95 is now causing fatal errors. I don't have any operating system updates installed and everything is stock. My specs are: CPU - I9-13900K, Mainboard - Asus Rog Strix Z790, RAM - 2x Corsair CMH64GX5M2B5600C36 (64GB total), Graphics - Asus Tuf Rtx 4090. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, James.

Tell me about your performance during high and low usage. Did you perform any memory checks? Share your overall system details, including case, cooler, power source, etc. Also, list the apps that frequently crash.

My temperatures during idle range from 21 to 28°C, and under load they sit between 63 to 74°C. I've run a Windows memory diagnostic and found no errors. The cooler used is the ROG Strix LC2 360 Power Supply, paired with a Corsair HX1200 case. The storage setup includes a Sabrent M.2 NVMe 2TB Gen 4 drive as the boot drive, a Samsung 870 Qvo 4TB Corsair Force MP600 1TB SSD, and an 850 Pro 512GB Samsung SDD. The applications that crash or behave erratically are Postman, RenPy, Discord, Teams, Vscode—though this could be related to my code. I experience intermittent issues with the camera not working properly during startup, preventing face recognition from logging in.

Check the error logs for crashed apps—often they indicate issues in specific areas. It seems like the apps may function normally but fail to retain data. This is similar to what I experience with my GPU.
