Unusual Intel particles Mysterious components at the core
Hello, I'm just a new member looking to share some interesting discoveries. One day while browsing Intel's site, I stumbled upon a fascinating collection of unusual Atom CPUs (like P5962B and P5942B) with a lot of cores (8, 12, 16, 24). I explored some of them but found limited information beyond what's here. Another curious fact is that all these models were launched in Q1 2020, coinciding with the start of the pandemic and roughly 2-4 years after Intel ceased producing Atom processors, about 8 years after server processors. I don't have a clear timeline on when Intel fully stopped making Atom chips.
Special processors designed for 5G base stations are targeted, typical tech platforms won't address them.
