Unusual increase in CPU temperatures not linked to clock overclocking
I've been running the Ryzen 5 3600 for quite some time. About two months ago, I switched from an air cooler to a budget AIO called Deepcool Castle v2 RGB. Temperatures were fine until recently, then they jumped up to around 52-60 in idle. With the room at about 32°C, it's puzzling what might have caused this change. I still have the warranty on my cooler. Should I take it in for repair or warranty service?
Confirmed, remove the airlock. It seems there is algal or bacterial development present.
Sure, I'm excited about it too. I was surprised by the quick temperature increase since my system handles airflow well. Appreciate the guidance!)
It’s possible it’s an air bubble. Check if your radiator inlet and outlet sit above the water block. If they’re below, you can eliminate that cause. If not, turn the case so the radiator is above the block and see if that resolves the issue. A diagram of the setup could be useful.
I'm also a bit puzzled since these are the readings when everything is running at maximum capacity.
It could be operating quietly because of a software update. Your temperatures are normal. Don’t be concerned.
