Your laptop has been running smoothly for five years, but lately it's been making unusual noises. I checked the GPU temperatures and they were unusually high—around 77 degrees when idle, which is higher than usual. I also noticed the Wi-Fi speeds fluctuating, sometimes reaching up to 140KB/s while download speeds stayed around 3 MB/s. The game downloads seemed to be affected too. You might want to consider the Wi-Fi performance since you have another machine for heavy GPU tasks but need your old one for downloading.

Start by inspecting vents and fans for dust or lint buildup. Use compressed air to remove small amounts, or disassemble components if needed for thorough cleaning.
