I tried that too, yes. Luckily it wasn’t that way! I believe I discovered something about the Windows Dynamic Tick feature and its impact on gaming micro stutters and multimedia problems. I turned it off using the command prompt, and so far it’s working well. It seems that setting the computer to high performance mode doesn’t disable it either. Really puzzling, Microsoft.
