Changed my power supply unit again. Still experiencing the same problem. Performed a complete Windows reinstall to check.

I swapped my RAM for a Kingston Fury Beast at 3200mhz. The system keeps crashing. I was able to run the PC for about 6–7 hours before it failed. The screen went completely black for around five seconds, then came back and everything went haywire—windows became unresponsive. Nvidia support suggested tweaking settings, but the problem persists. The most frustrating thing is that testing the card or running benchmarks doesn’t trigger a crash. I’m going to call the store where I bought it and might try using the PC without the card until then. It’s exhausting wasting time and money on this.

It came from the Microsoft app store. I reinstalled Windows and didn’t install any drivers this time, just to check for problems. Something was trying to install drivers and I couldn’t locate them. It took a while until I realized it was the app store itself. It wasn’t showing up or opening at all. I assumed only the Windows Update downloads drivers were involved, so I turned that off, but it worked fine. It’s frustrating, but I’m hoping that was the real fix.
