My computer will experience a sudden drop in frames even when playing light games. I've checked everything like BIOS settings, removed FPS limits or added them, and updated the NVIDIA driver, but nothing changes. Only a few games stay stable: Honkai Impact 3rd (with ultra high), Genshin Impact (with ultra high), Overwatch 2 (mid), Apex Legend (mid), and Warthunder (mid). Osu! has occasional frame drops every few seconds. When the game is running heavily, CPU usage jumps to 100% at first, then drops to 15-30%, while GPU stays at 97-100. In light games like Osu!, CPU usage is 1-10 and GPU is 15. What could be causing all this?

Checked the CPU and GPU temperatures. No updates or new apps were installed at the beginning.

Are you certain about the 10400 overclock?

CPU temperature stays around 50-60°C during gameplay. GPU reaches 82°C, using Intel UHD 630 before GTX 1080; system booted multiple times after installation with no changes.

It's tough to distinguish between overclocking and hitting the maximum frequency setting.

I avoid taking chances since I believe the bios might be the latest update.

The issue seems to be with the power supply unit. It might be a typo. The GPU could be overheating—was it purchased new or used? Are the fans running properly?

I don't have a BIOS version. Please check your system settings or manufacturer documentation.

The GPU can only handle up to 82°C due to overheating issues. It overheated once because of the limited case space, and I helped my friend install his PC as well. XD
