Hello everyone, I recently reached out from an old high school friend who’s now diving into PC gaming. He’s facing some strange problems with his computer. About two weeks ago, the machine started showing a blue screen due to the UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION error. After that, it would shut down and restart on its own without any blue screens. Now it’s experiencing a CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED error. To be clear, is this more likely a hardware issue, a software or Windows problem, or something else? We’ve run the sfc /scannow command, checked for disk errors, and scanned for viruses thoroughly. At this stage, options include getting new hardware, resetting the system, or even switching to Ubuntu. What do you all think?
