Unusual audio distortion occurs in 3D games with RTX 3xx graphics, especially when using the built-in sound card.
I have a problem with card RTX 3xxx. My main suspects are power supply or motherboard. Description of the issue: When I use my old GTX 980, sound played from headset (or speakers connect on to integrated sound card) is 100% clear, nothing buzzing no distorted sound. Even when I start any 3D games, sound is clear. But I have tried two newer graphic cards: Evga 3070 TI and Msi 3070 gaming trio z. Whenever I start any 3D games (like Fortnite, RDR2 or Control) with rtx 3xxx onboard, sound become distorted. When there is no sound I don't hear any buzzing sound in the background (it is silent). But when there is any music (also in-game effects sound) in the game, those sound become distorted. Also if I minimalize opened game, I hear buzzing sound i.e. in youtube. When I close the 3D game everything going back to normal. This is very enoying. I have MSI z690 Tomahawk wifi ddr4 motherboard, Intel 12600k and Fractal Design Ion 760 80 Plus Platinum power supply. When I play the sound from usb sound card I don't hear these distortions. Currently I don't have spare motherboard and power supply to test with them. Any suggestions on how to deal with this problem?
The audio device's sample rate might be too high. Look in the Control Panel > Sound section for the device's properties. If the sample rate exceeds 192,000Hz/24bit, consider reducing it to 96,000/24 or 48,000/24.
RTX voice refers to the audio output from your graphics card, allowing you to hear game sounds or system audio directly through your speakers.
My microphone is still muted. I'm using identical drivers for both the GTX 980 and RTX 3070. The main difference I notice is increased power usage with the RTX 3070. Could the power adapter be generating this noise when it's under full load? What steps can I take to eliminate it?
NVIDIA Broadcast allows adjustments to your microphone and speakers. Ensure noise cancellation is disabled for speakers.
