Hi, i recently tested my line throw the Router page and it showed 24 mb/s which the speed my line can handle, I'm subscribed to up16 mb/s i was in my line test period which was one week now my line is 15 mb/s and keeps disconnecting every hour or two and takes up to 15 minutes to retrain i wanna know is my line bad or it is an isp scam from which they can downgrade it to 8 mb/s with the same price?

Have you explored alternative methods for checking speeds? Please share your network configuration details, including DHCP server/router, switch, AP, and external modem.

your dhcp is set up automatically and the dns servers are 129.250.35.250, 129.250.35.251 and 208.67.220.123. it's connected to a dlink dsl-2740u router, and you're experiencing a wifi speed issue.

It might be a line or a modem issue. Are your phones being filtered correctly? I’ve noticed many problems recently, especially with an unfiltered phone causing disconnections each time it rings.

Another aspect of DSL involves your proximity to the closest ISP station; greater distances may lead to unstable connections. Experiment with alternative DNS settings, as this might influence performance if the ISP offers poor options.
