I've observed occasional strange flickering on my taskbar, which seems suspicious. I recorded the screen to investigate. It appears an application launches briefly and then closes. I'm worried about potential malware since I don't use pirated software. Could you help identify the app responsible? Thank you!

You’re focusing on a particular task, within a defined period, or simply acting without direction. What matters is reviewing the boot-up programs via Autoruns or Task Manager and identifying any unusual processes.

I maintain a consistent list of apps that stay open during the day, but I'm attempting to close some to check for a link to one of them. It appears unrelated to any specific task I'm performing, occurring roughly every fifteen minutes. It's difficult to confirm definitively since it feels like a minor glitch in my peripheral awareness. I'll attempt to capture the screen while Task Manager is active to investigate further. Thanks for your advice on handling this.

Launch Task Manager ordered by CPU usage and maintain it open. Monitor for any alerts simultaneously. Explore Processes and Details sections.

I've experienced this problem consistently over the past few months following a Windows update. It seems unrelated to any malicious activity. The issue appears when switching desktops, especially with a second monitor, and the icon resurfaces when dragging it to the right.

It seems like your setup might be working but isn't activating when you switch desktops. Double-check the connections and ensure everything is powered on.

No, moving the invisible icon to the right does not cause it to reappear.

The hidden symbol shows for just a moment—no opportunity to tap or drag. There was a Windows update recently. So far today I haven’t seen the icon appear...
