Unusual actions with Ryzen Master?

I was experimenting with the Ryzen Master program and, once finished, attempted to revert to the default settings (auto). Regardless of actions taken, the overclock remained active even after resetting.
I also installed the AMD chipset drivers for my motherboard, turned off auto-start for programs I suspected could conflict with Ryzen Master, removed the CMOS battery, but the settings stayed unchanged. Eventually, I restored the system using the UEFI default preset in my BIOS. However, I’m unsure why this occurred. Is this an issue with the software or something else?

no issue, rm sets certain configurations permanently by also updating them in CMOS but struggles to undo them, which is why resetting CMOS was the correct approach.
