When you lightly touch the PC case or place your headphones on top, the system shuts down or restarts. I’ve verified all connections carefully to make sure nothing is loose. This reaction is quite unusual and really hard to replicate once the tower is on the floor and powered through an UPS.
Sounds like a grounding issue with the case. You'll want to double check your motherboard is properly installed on the correct amount of standoffs. I'd also remove it from the UPS and floor just to rule out an external device or something with static from the floor causing it.
