Hey everyone.
I recently assembled a new PC and experienced numerous crashes without overclocking the CPU. Even after trying the auto OC process, the issue persisted. Only after performing a manual OC did the crashes cease. Could there be a hardware problem?
Here are my specifications:
Asrock z170 extreme 6+
i7 6700k
MSI GTX 980ti 6GB
16GB kingston hyperX dual channel
500gb samsung 850 evo
3Tb seagate HDD
Silverstone 750W 80+ gold PSU
Corsair h110 CPU cooler
Asus dx sound card
Corsair 780t Case.
Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

while OC'ing, can you display the readings on HWMonitor?

Increase the voltage without the OC.

while OC'ing, could you share the readings on HWMonitor?

I'm a bit higher than necessary because I'm still working on increasing it.
Not very familiar with Over Clocking yet, but it seems stable after the stress test at 4.6 so far.

Without the OC, just increasing the voltage seems to be the solution. Probably not necessary to adjust it otherwise.

Without the OC, the voltage should be higher.
I think that's mostly what's helped, but technically I shouldn't have to adjust it.
It seems like the issue isn't about needing more voltage for stability at normal speed. Something might be wrong, and someone should help me find a fix.
