Unstable OC with a 5070 Ti processor, memory at 1500/MHz and core clock at 350MHz?
Hi everyone, I'm reaching out for some assistance regarding my OC my PNY 5070 Ti Epic-X. I've managed to set a stable Memory Clock of +1000MHz and Core at +300MHz (with TempLim set to 110% to maintain performance at 330W max), and Steel Nomad is functioning properly. I've also tested various games and series like GoT, Cyberpunk, etc., but they would crash after just 5 to 10 minutes of play. I've attempted to increase the OC further to +1500/350MHz, but then Steel Nomad would crash as well—sometimes resulting in a black screen or other errors. I'm wondering how to achieve a more stable and consistent result, since even small overclocks seem to cause issues with the driver. This GPU is powerful and capable of delivering better performance (its specs are impressive too), and someone has reported an 8000 score with excellent stability. My custom GPU is a solid mid-to-high range option, likely the best value for its price, yet these problems persist. The PC specifications are shown in the attached image for more detailed guidance.

That "someone" used Conductonaut Extreme and Thermal Putty Pro on the GPU.

Since else-ways, one can't get way too high core/memory clocks with mere 42C average during GPU bench.
That, and they have Gigabyte RTX 5070 Ti (most likely Aorus Master), with different (better) cooler and power delivery, compared your PNY GPU.
Most likely, you can't. Unless you go with AIB version that has better PCB design (e.g power delivery), which is more stable and offers more OC headroom.
There is a difference between good mid-top and great top-end one. One of them is OC headroom.
Also, there is a reason, why your PNY GPU is $500 bucks cheaper compared to Gigabyte Aorus Master,

It's referred to as the "Silicon Lottery". Your card is only assured to satisfy the advertised requirements. You probably won't be able to exceed them.
