i set up my first PC last Friday, and overall things have worked well, except for occasional random frame drops where the game freezes for about a second or two before resuming. i'm using a 7900x3d, asrock b650m pro rs wifi, gskill ripjaws 32gb ddr5-6000mhz cl32, kingston nv2 2 tb m.2, sapphire pulse rx 7900 xt, and phanteks revolt sfx 850w. i've ruled out network or lag issues by testing both ethernet and wifi, checking ping latency consistently under 5ms, and trying to reinstall or update gpu drivers. my cpu and gpu temperatures aren't spiking, though usage can be high depending on the game or settings. i'm wondering if changes in my bios settings might be causing this problem, and would appreciate any advice.
